Through the REACH Special Education Certification courses, participants gain in-depth knowledge of current issues in special education, diagnostic assessment methods, and effective strategies for monitoring student progress. The program also equips learners with practical approaches to supporting students with both high- and low-incidence disabilities, as well as an understanding of how emotional, social, and behavioral disorders can impact learning and comprehension.
To support career advancement in education, the certificate emphasizes best practices in inclusive teaching strategies and effective classroom management within special education settings. In addition, the program is open to non-educational professionals who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required to work confidently and compassionately with exceptional children.

The Certificate in Special Education with specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) equips practitioners with the advanced education and certification required to effectively address the diverse behavioral needs of exceptional children. This specialized ABA training enhances professional competence while also offering increased employment stability.
ABA practitioners are in high demand across organizations that support children with autism and other developmental disorders. Graduates of the program are well prepared to pursue career opportunities in a wide range of settings, including education, healthcare, business, and social service sectors.

24 Units - Training Duration: 4 months
The Certificate in Special Education with specialized training in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) provides students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to deliver high-quality childcare and education for children from birth to age seven across a variety of settings. The program responds to the growing need to support and guide personnel in early childhood centers, particularly those with limited certification or formal training.
A structured ECEC curriculum helps ensure that educators address key learning areas, apply a consistent and effective pedagogical approach, and maintain a high standard of quality across different age groups. Additionally, the program recognizes that the goals of early childhood education must be broad and holistic—supporting children’s overall development while laying a strong foundation for future academic success.

21 Units - Training Duration: 4 months
The Certificate in Special Education with specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provides a comprehensive overview of autism spectrum disorders. The program examines the psychological, physiological, social, and educational characteristics of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum conditions, including autistic disorder, pervasive developmental disorder–not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS), Rett syndrome, Asperger’s syndrome, and childhood disintegrative disorder (CDD).
The curriculum emphasizes understanding the causes, prevalence, diagnosis, and assessment of ASD, with a strong focus on translating assessment outcomes into effective educational planning. Participants learn to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for children and Individualized Transition Plans (ITPs) for adolescents and young adults with ASD, beginning at age 14 and above, to support successful educational and life transitions.

The program also welcomes parents who wish to gain the knowledge and skills needed to better support and manage their young children with dyslexia.
In addition, this certificate is ideal for individuals interested in establishing or working in learning support centers for children who experience reading difficulties and related learning challenges, such as difficulties with writing, spelling, and mathematics. The program equips participants with practical strategies and evidence-based approaches to effectively support learners with dyslexia and other associated learning differences.

18 Units - Training Duration: 4 months
The course provides foundational knowledge in speech, language, hearing, and swallowing, covering typical development, common disorders—such as articulation, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders—as well as assessment and treatment methods, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Participants will also learn about the different types of communication disorders, including Social Communication Disorder, a diagnosis introduced in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), and the evidence-based approaches used to treat them.

We provide diagnostic assessments worldwide, offering comprehensive multifactored psychoeducational assessment, including developmental screenings for young children to identify potential delays or disabilities. Early identification and timely intervention play a crucial role in supporting a child’s development and significantly improving long-term outcomes.

Our occupational therapists work with children with disabilities to develop skills needed for daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding. We also provide sensory integration therapy to help children regulate their responses to sensory input.

We offer speech and language therapy services for children with communication disorders. Our team works with families and educators to develop individualized treatment plans that target each child's specific needs.

We provide counseling services for clients experiencing mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety disorders, phobias, and more. Our approach focuses on addressing current concerns and achieving specific, measurable outcomes. Counseling sessions can be conducted in-person, online, or through guided self-help programs.

We offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, an evidence-based behavioral intervention that uses principles of learning and behavior to improve social, communication, and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors. ABA is especially effective for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays, emphasizing positive reinforcement to build functional skills and promote independence. Therapists work collaboratively to identify individualized goals, teach new skills—such as communication, attention, and self-regulation—through structured instruction or play-based activities, and reinforce positive responses to increase desired behaviors and reduce maladaptive ones.

Family support is essential in special education, as families serve as advocates, collaborators, and experts on their child. Working closely with inclusive schools, families help develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), establish positive home-school routines, foster social skills, and ensure access to necessary resources. This collaborative approach empowers families, promotes shared understanding, and leads to improved academic, emotional, and social outcomes for the child.

We offer playgroups for parents and young children with disabilities. Our playgroups provide opportunities for children to practice social skills while parents connect with each other and gain support from our team.
